The mission of the CTID Department is to produce outstanding scholars and professionals who are highly competent, value-laden, creative, and critical thinkers through an inspiring and intellectually stimulating academic and professional environment.

Further, the CTID Department aims to advance the disciplines and professions of clothing technology and interior design through synergy between science and art in which students and faculty may grow and develop to their full potential.
